THE MICRODRAMA REVOLUTION
Vertical microdramas - serialised, mobile-first stories typically running 60 to 150 seconds per episode, shot vertically for smartphone viewing - have become one of the fastest-growing entertainment categories globally.
The global micro-drama have industry generated an estimated $11 billion in revenue in 2025, with projections pointing towards $14 billion in 2026. We firmly believe this is not a passing trend.
OUR MICRODRAMA DIVISION
Angela Richardson began researching the vertical micro drama market in early 2025, tracking its global development and studying the platforms, content models, and audience behaviours shaping it. That research led directly to co-founding a startup, currently developing a dedicated microdrama app - giving RedHead Verticals both a practical stake in the format and a live view of where it is heading.
Alongside that venture, our distribution focus in this space is straightforward: sourcing and supplying quality vertical microdramas to platforms, apps, and streaming services looking to build or expand their content offering.
Microdramas are becoming an important part of the international licensing landscape, with broadcasters and streaming services all competing for strong localised content to meet audiences whose appetite for the format continues to grow. RedHead Verticals aims to provide a reliable link between strong content and the platforms.
